Creator Agreement

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating a creator account on GifChat, you agree to be bound by this Creator Agreement, our Terms of Service, and our Privacy Policy. You must be at least 16 years old to use GifChat as a creator.

2. Creator Account

You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You may not impersonate others, use misleading usernames, or create multiple accounts to manipulate engagement metrics. GifChat reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

3. Content Guidelines

You retain ownership of all content you create and post on GifChat. By posting content, you grant GifChat a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and promote your content within the platform and for marketing purposes. Prohibited content includes:

• Explicit nudity or sexual content
• Graphic violence or gore
• Hate speech, harassment, bullying, or threats
• Content promoting self-harm or dangerous activities
• Spam, scams, or misleading content
• Content that infringes on intellectual property rights
• Personally identifiable information of others without consent
• Content that violates any applicable law

All uploaded content is scanned for compliance. Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent ban.

4. Earnings and Monetization

Eligible creators may earn revenue through the GifChat Earn program. Earnings are calculated based on views at a rate determined by GifChat, currently set at $1 per 1,000 views. GifChat reserves the right to adjust earning rates, eligibility requirements, payout thresholds, payout methods, and all other aspects of the monetization program at any time, at its sole discretion, with or without prior notice. View counts, engagement metrics, and earnings calculations are estimates and may include system-generated or algorithmically amplified data, and GifChat does not guarantee that reported views or engagement originate exclusively from real, human users. Earnings are calculated based on GifChat's internal metrics, which may differ from third-party analytics tools, and GifChat's calculations are final and binding. GifChat reserves the right to void, withhold, or reclaim earnings that result from fraudulent, bot-generated, artificially inflated, or otherwise inauthentic engagement. GifChat may suspend, modify, or discontinue the Earn program entirely at any time without liability to creators. Minimum payout thresholds and payout methods are set by GifChat and may change over time.

5. Streak Rewards

Creators may earn streak rewards for maintaining consistent daily chat activity. Streak reward amounts are set by GifChat and are subject to change. Streaks must be maintained organically. Automated or scripted messaging to maintain streaks is prohibited and will result in streak reset and potential account action.

6. GIF Library Submissions

Creators may submit GIFs to the GifChat library through the Studio feature. By submitting a GIF, you grant GifChat a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, modify, and distribute the GIF within the platform. You represent that you have all necessary rights to submit the content. Submissions are reviewed before being added to the library. GifChat may reject submissions at its discretion.

7. Engagement and Metrics

View counts, like counts, follower counts, repost counts, and other engagement metrics displayed on the platform are estimates provided for informational purposes only. GifChat does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or authenticity of these numbers. Metrics may include system-generated, algorithmically estimated, or platform-amplified data and may not reflect exclusively organic, human-generated engagement. Reported metrics should not be relied upon as verified or independently auditable data. Artificially inflating metrics through bots, purchased engagement, or coordinated manipulation by users is strictly prohibited and will result in account termination.

8. Community Standards

Creators are expected to maintain a respectful and positive presence on the platform. Repeated violations of community guidelines, including harassment of other users, coordinated attacks, or persistent posting of prohibited content, will result in escalating actions from warnings to permanent account termination. Banned users forfeit any unpaid earnings.

9. Limitation of Liability

GifChat is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for lost earnings, content removal, account actions, or service interruptions. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount earned by you through GifChat in the 12 months preceding the claim. This limitation applies to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. You may delete your account through the app settings. Upon termination, your content may remain on the platform for up to 30 days during the deletion process. Any unpaid earnings above the minimum payout threshold will be processed within 60 days of account closure. GifChat reserves the right to immediately terminate accounts that violate these terms.

11. Modifications

GifChat may update this agreement from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notification or email at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
