Privacy Policy

Last updated: January 2026

1. Introduction

GifChat Earn (“GifChat,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates an advertising platform and creator analytics dashboard. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. It applies to advertisers, creators, and visitors who use our websites, dashboards, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to the practices described here.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, information generated as you use the Services, and information from third parties:

  • Account information. When you register, we collect your email address and an authentication credential (password). Authentication is handled by Supabase Auth, and your password is hashed and stored by Supabase rather than by us in plaintext.
  • Campaign and creative data. For advertisers, this includes campaign names, budgets, schedules, targeting parameters (such as geography and age range), ad creatives, headlines, captions, and destination URLs.
  • Billing information. When you add funds or pay for campaigns, payment is processed by Stripe. We receive limited billing metadata (such as transaction identifiers, amounts, and the last four digits of a card); we do not store full card numbers on our servers.
  • Usage and analytics data. We collect impressions, clicks, click-through rate, reach, spend, and other engagement metrics generated as campaigns run and as creators interact with the dashboard.
  • Device and log data. We automatically collect IP address, browser type, device identifiers, referring pages, and timestamps for security, debugging, and analytics.

3. How We Use It

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Services, including your account and dashboard.
  • Deliver and measure advertising campaigns, including geo- and age-targeted ad delivery and performance reporting.
  • Process payments, manage wallet balances, and prevent fraudulent transactions.
  • Generate the analytics, impression, reach, and spend figures shown in your dashboard. Please note that these figures may be estimated, modeled, or simulated (see our Analytics Disclaimer below).
  • Communicate with you about your account, transactions, and product updates.
  • Secure the Services, enforce our terms, and comply with legal obligations.

4. Analytics Are Estimates

The analytics, impression counts, reach, click, and spend figures displayed in the dashboard and across the Services are provided for informational purposes only and may be estimated, modeled, or simulated. They are not guarantees of actual delivery, performance, or results, and they should not be relied upon as audited or financial figures. Actual results may differ materially from the numbers shown.

5. Cookies & Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, secure your session, and understand how the Services are used. Authentication tokens are stored in secure, httpOnly cookies that are not accessible to client-side JavaScript. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but disabling them may limit functionality such as staying signed in.

6. Third-Party Services

We rely on trusted third-party providers to operate the Services. Each processes data under its own privacy policy:

  • Supabase — authentication and database services for account and application data.
  • Stripe — payment processing for wallet top-ups and campaign billing.
  • Vercel — hosting and content delivery for our web applications.

We share information with these providers only as needed to deliver the Services. We do not sell your personal information.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services. We may retain certain data for longer where required to comply with legal, tax, accounting, or security obligations, to resolve disputes, or to enforce our agreements. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below. We will respond in accordance with applicable law. You may also update much of your account information directly from your dashboard.

9. Children's Privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

10. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
