Refund Policy

Plain version: subscriptions (Plus, Premium), coins and other purchases are bought through Apple in theGifChat iPhone app, so refunds come from Apple. If something on our side broke, tell us too and we will sort it out. This also covers the old video plans (Starter, Creator, Pro) from before the video generator was removed in November 2026.

Chatting in GifChat is free. GifChat Plus can start with a 7-day free trial: cancel before it ends and you are not charged.

How to get a refund

Request it from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com, or in the App Store on your iPhone, signed in with the Apple ID you paid with. Apple decides refunds under its own terms, and that includes the 14-day right of withdrawal for consumers in the EU and the UK. We cannot refund an Apple purchase ourselves.

Renewals

Cancel before a renewal date and you are not charged again. See the cancel page at gifchat.app/cancel for the steps.

If something went wrong

If a purchase did not arrive, coins went missing, a face pack or border did not come out right, or the service did not work, email support@gifchat.app from the address on your account. We reply within a few days.
