AI text story video maker
Most AI video makers give you a form. GifChat's Make it with AI is a chat: you say what you want in plain words, it asks one question at a time, and it builds a vertical text story video with real GIF reactions, two AI voices and captions. When the video is done, you tell it what to change and it makes it again.
The studio needs a GifChat account, which you create in the iPhone app.
How the chat works
Type, or tap the mic and talk in any language. The assistant works out what it still needs and asks for it as a short card: who texts first, where it happens, the tone, the length, a voice for each person, their GIF packs, bubble frames, the name style and badge in the chat header, the background, music, caption style, caption look, and where the captions sit. Every card has a You choose option, so you only decide what you care about and the AI fills in the rest.
Check everything before it renders
Before anything is made, a ready card lists every choice in one place with the minutes the video will use and what you will have left. Change any line from there. Nothing is charged until you press Generate, and chatting itself does not use minutes.
Remakes from feedback
After the video plays, reply the way you would to a person: "make the ending meaner", "shorter replies from Sam", "use Subway Surfers instead". The assistant keeps the script and edits it rather than starting over, so what you liked survives. The first video stays saved, and you can remake as many times as you like; each remake uses minutes for its length.

Say what you want
One line is enough. Starters like "A funny fight between friends", "A debate", "I already have a script", "Start from a picture" and "Surprise me" are there if you would rather tap.
Answer the cards, or skip them
Pick an option on each card, or tap You choose and let the AI decide.
Review the ready card
It shows the characters and voices, length, GIFs, background, captions and the minutes the video will use.
Generate
Progress shows in the chat. It usually takes about two minutes, and the video keeps rendering if you close the app or the tab.
Watch it and ask for changes
Tell the assistant what to fix and press Remake.
Tips
- Say the length and the tone in your first message. It saves two cards.
- Feedback works best when it names a moment: "the twist comes too early" is easier to act on than "make it better".
- Already wrote the chat? Say "I already have a script" and paste it. The assistant handles everything after the words.
- Pick the video language, English or Romanian, before the first video. The script, voices and captions all follow it.
Questions
Does chatting with the AI use my minutes?
No. Minutes are only used by finished videos, counted by their length. The number of chat messages you can send per day or month depends on your plan.
Can I talk instead of typing?
Yes. Tap the mic and speak in any language; your words are transcribed into the message box so you can check them before sending.
Is the first video lost when I remake it?
No. Every version stays in your history.
Can I use it on a computer?
Yes. The same assistant runs at gifchat.app/studio in any modern browser. Sign in with the account you created in the iPhone app.
What do I get at the end?
